Hi there! I’m Andy Forrister, a friendly freelance web designer and developer with over 25 years of hands-on experience. I’m based in South Gloucestershire and started AFWD because I wanted to offer small and medium-sized businesses a more personal, affordable, and results-driven alternative to the big design agencies.

I've grown alongside the web, from the early days of hand-coding HTML to creating modern, responsive sites on platforms like Shopify, Umbraco and WordPress. I truly enjoy working closely with business owners to understand their goals and challenges. My aim is to come up with digital solutions that are not only beautifully designed but also incredibly useful!

I usually manage most projects myself, but I’m fortunate to collaborate with a small team of trusted professionals I've known for over a decade. Together, we've tackled everything from international campaigns for well-known brands like Westfield Shopping Centre, the Rugby World Cup, and Miami International Airport, to local websites for tradespeople and community projects. We always bring care, clarity, and a focus on achieving real results.
