The Tide Studio is a UK-based creative agency that works with brands in the maritime, automotive, and adventure lifestyle industries. Their team specialises in brand identity, visual storytelling, and digital design, helping businesses craft bold, distinctive voices in competitive markets.
They approached me to design and build their website - one that would reflect their creative edge, showcase their portfolio, and attract new clients.
My work with Tide Creative Group focused on aligning their digital goals with their brand mission, resulting in a streamlined, engaging online presence that supports growth.
The Challenge

My Role
I worked with the Tide Creative Group as their lead web designer and developer, taking the project from concept through to launch. My role included:
Design Implementation – Translating Tide’s creative direction into a clean, modern, user-focused interface.
Custom Development – Building a bespoke WordPress theme powered by Tailwind CSS for lightweight, scalable code.
Performance Optimisation – Image compression, minification, and caching to ensure fast load speeds.
Content Strategy & Structure – Setting up custom post types for services, projects, and insights to make content easy to manage.
Accessibility & Usability – Ensuring the site works for all users and is WCAG-friendly.
Since launch, I have continued to work with Tide in an ongoing partnership as their senior web designer & developer. I now:
Support their team with new features and technical improvements.
Provide maintenance, updates, and optimisation.
Collaborate on client projects, extending their in-house creative capabilities with my development expertise.
